In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old girl, who was allegedly raped by a 21-year-old, is tied along with the accused and paraded in a village at Madhya Pradesh.
As per reports, a young girl was raped by a 21-year-old man on Sunday in the tribal-dominated Alirajpur district of Madhya Pradesh.
Instead of taking care of the rape survivor, the villages, including the girl’s family, acted cruelly by tying them with ropes and exhibiting them in the village.
A disturbing video clip, which had recorded the entire episode, is now doing rounds on social media. The clip shows the young girl being exhibited with the accused with chants such as – “Bharat Mata Ki Jai“.
The police came to the rescue of the girl and two cases have been filed. One against the rape accused and the other against the family, who supported the whole incident. A total of six persons, including the man who is accused of rape, and five villagers, have been arrested.
The accused has been booked u/s of the IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. On the other hand, family members and relatives of the victim were booked under sections 294, 355, 323, 342 and other sections of the IPC.
