Rakul Preet sheds some light on the importance of yoga

Rakul Preet Singh has risen as one of the Bollywood and Tollywood stars to have an affinity for Yoga & wellness, which she has effectively voiced through her social media in the midst of the lockdown. On the event of International Yoga Day 2020 falling today, Rakul has shared her view about the significance of controlling one’s contemplations and forming life through yoga. The pretty lady put up an image of herself acing a yoga aasan and urged her fans to do it and spend time in self-reflection.

She stated saying true yoga isn’t about the state of your body yet the shape of your life .

“It’s not about touching your toes but what you learn on the way down. You can’t always control what goes on outside but you can control what goes on inside. Sink into the stillness and celebrate this union of mind, body and soul to self reflect and vibrate at the highest frequency of life at all times”, she further added by dropping a yoga posture and love emoji.

In the midst of lockdown, the actress has shed some light on yoga and meditation unlike few others who focus more on hitting gym. She often imparted her wellness routine to fans to inspire them to exercise at home and remain fit.

Since it’s father day too, Rakul shared her heart felt wishes to her father with a pic together on twitter today.

She wrote, “From helping me take my first steps to pushing me to do everything, for not taking no for an answer ever, for helping us push boundaries, for making us fearless and strong , from being childlike with me even today to being my guide through all things in life”. She later posted a childhood pic of herself with her dad and also shared how he had been her biggest support since childhood.
