Back when YS Raja Sekhar Reddy was the CM of Andhra Pradesh, he always used to mention the word ‘those two News Papers’ in assembly and often did read the news published in those papers in front of the whole assembly in a satirical way. Those two papers are nothing but ‘Eenadu’ and ‘Andhra Jyothi’.
With time, Eenadu realized that there is no need to favor one party and nowadays all their articles were written supporting Jagan. Though Jagan received numerous blows from the AP high court, his sensational G.O 2430 got a positive response from the court and now the AP CM is all set to attack the ‘Andhra Jyothi’ that belongs to ABN Radha Krishna.
Under G.O 2430, it is punishable offense to make allegations and biased statements without any valid proofs by any media channel or print media and the respective people will receive notices regarding their biased statements and news. If they are unresponsive, subsequent charges will be filed against them to place behind bars.
Now, State’s principal secretary of the underground mining department Gopala Krishna Dwivedi made it clear that people who alleged the state government without any proofs need to apologize in 15 days for their statements otherwise they will file a defamation suit on the respective media channels and print media who made some gruesome comments on the government’s transparency in these mining works.
If the leader of opposition Chandra Babu Naidu, Aamoda Publications (ABN Radha Krishna) and Ushodaya Publications (Eenadu -Ramoji Rao) won’t take back there words, they will have to face a defamation suit in the court of law and both Naidu and Ramoji Rao may get away with this but it is being said that the YCP’s real target is Radha Krishna.
