Raju Gari Kodi Pulao Review: Not Cooked Well

Many small films are made with unique stories are appealing to the audience. Recently, the film ‘Raju gari Kodi pulao’ has attracted the attention of the audience with its title and promotional content. “Raju Gari Kodi Pulao,” directed by Shiva Kona and jointly produced by Anil Moduga and Shiva Kona, hits theatres. Story:

The story essentially revolves around three couples who wanted go on a trip to a forest area. Two of them are married couples and one couple is a soon-to-be-married. One od the couple is thinking of getting divorced due to emotional issues. But their baby has a recurring dream that their lives are in danger during the trip. They go on the trip without listening to the baby. At least there is no cell phone signal in that forest area. For some distance the journey of the three couples goes smoothly, after that some unexpected events happen. As hours and days pass, the fear increases. What is actually in that forest? What caused those who went there to lose their lives? What is the relationship between this story and Raju gari Kodi Pulao? You have to watch the movie in theatres to know.

Performances:

Prabhakar played the titular role of Raju Garu but his role was very short. Limited to some scenes and promotions in posters. But he tried to show his mark even though the length of the role was short. Director Siva Kona played the main role of Danny. He scored good marks as an actor. Makers may consider his name for different roles. Abhilash Bhandari, Kunal Kaushal, Ramya Dinesh, Neha Desh Pandey, Prachi Kether and others acted different roles and they are decent. However, the dubbing of some characters in many scenes seemed artificial. Attention should be paid to that matter

Technical Departments:

Praveen Mani’s background music was decent. Pawan Guntu’s camera work is good. Editor Basava trimmed very well and he could’ve worked more in second half. The production values ​​are good and makers spent ample amount considering the content and it’s reach. The potential of this intriguing story remains unexplored throughout.

Verdict: Through this movie, they wanted to say that ‘Illegitimate relationships are harmful’, it was told bit interestingly and bit irritatingly. The film’s story line is great, but the performances, comedy were decent enough. However, the movie would have been better if some scenes were trimmed in the second half with stronger scenes. Finally, Raju Gari Kodipulao not cooked well to enjoy it heartfully.
