RRR turned out to be a global sensation on OTT as it trended in over 60 countries worldwide on Netflix. The film was a smashing success on OTT and Netflix is evidently thriller about the same.
Netflix is now said to have offered a big money deal to Rajamouli in view of RRR’s blockbuster success.
Netflix has reportedly signed an agreement with Rajamouli, as a part of which, he will have to supervise and produce content for the OTT platform.
Whether Rajamouli opts to create a series or a film is up to him. The clause is that he will have to be proactive in the creative side of the project. Netflix will take care of the funding and other production related activities.
Rajamouli is said to have received a lumpsum amount for the deal.
