Pushpa 2 is one of the biggest pan Indian projects in the making in Indian cinema and the stakes are so very high on this one to an extent that the film is billed to register unprecedented pre-release theatrical business.
Earlier, there was a report that a Nizam-based distributor offered Rs 100 crore for the Nizam theatrical rights fo the film. This shows the kind of mass hype on the film as this is a bigger deal than RRR.
The film’s overseas theatrical rights are also hugely in demand as the buyers are extremely interested in the Allu Arjun starrer.
Historically, sequels have been running wild at the box office as was seen in the case of KGF 2, Baahubali 2, and most recently Tillu Square.
Given the trend, Pushpa 2 could also be a huge opener in the pan Indian belt. So, the buyers are readily investing big bucks on the film.
