Sensational actor Vijay Deverakonda and director Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming film ‘Liger’ is all set for a pan-India release on 25 August this year.
The promotions for the movie are in full swing and the team has created a great buzz ahead of the release. In his speech at an event held in Warangal on Sunday, the director revealed the greatness of the Rowdy actor and said that he had not seen an honest actor like Vijay before.
Puri said Vijay is a hero in real life. “When sent him a crore of rupee as part of his remuneration, he hasn’t taken it and asked me to use the money for the movie. When he got to know that I have a debt, Vijay asked me to pay it with his remuneration. Is there any other actor who will do this? He is a hero off the screen as well,” he mentioned.
The director also said that he watched Arjun Reddy upon the recommendation of his wife. After watching the movie for about 45 minutes, Puri said that he paused the movie and thought about VD’s honest acting.
Speaking about Liger, the sports action film is produced by Dharma Productions, and Puri Connects.
