Independence Day celebrations were held grandly at Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Blood Bank in Hyderabad. Chiru, his mother Anjana Devi, and producer Allu Aravind participated in the celebrations along with the staff.
Anjana Devi hoisted the national flag while Chiranjeevi assisted her in this process. They also paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi by offering flowers to his picture. Speaking on the occasion, the Sye Raa actor remembered the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the unity of India. He also mentioned about the mothers of the brave soldiers for allowing their children into the freedom struggle.
Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15 August as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation’s independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi will next be seen in Godfather, which is being directed by Mohan Raja. He is also working on Bobby’s Waltair Veerayya and Meher Ramesh’s directorial Bhola Shankar.
