Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Hyderabad for two hours, on 8th April. During his two hours in the city, the PM is will be launching a number of new projects, all of which amount to Rs. 11,300 Crores in total. He will land at the Begumpet airport at 11:30 AM, and will immediately leave for Secunderabad railway station, where he will launch the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express.
The PM will address a public meeting at Parade Grounds after that, after which he will lay foundation for the new All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), to be opened at Bibi Nagar. The PM will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of the Secunderabad Railway Station, which is being taken up at the cost of Rs. 720 Crores. The redevelopment of the station will bring world class amenities to the famous railway station.
The Prime Minister will also flag-off 13 new Multi-Modal Transport Service (MMTS) services in the suburban section of Hyderabad-Secunderabad twin city region, and will also dedicate to the nation the doubling and electrification of Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar project. Foundation stones for five National Highway projects worth more than Rs. 7,850 Crores will also be laid by the PM. The PM will leave for Chennai from the Begumpet Airport at 1:20 PM.
