It is very well known that Prashanth Kishore is the political advisor to the YSRCP government. He was highly instrumental in making sure that the Jagan Mohan Reddy led party would win the 2019 general elections in Andhra Pradesh. Prashanth Kishore is also the political advisor to Mayavati in West Bengal, and is currently more focused on the Trinamool Congress party.
PK has been helping the Trinamool Congress party to counter the BJP, and ever since PK shifted his focus to West Bengal, the YSRCP has been greatly suffering. It is not like PK is completely unattached to the YSRCP right now, it is just that he is not as involved as he once was. Many of Kishore’s team members have been given major posts in Andhra Pradesh, and PK is still working with the IPAC team for YSRCP.
With the atrocities against the Hindu religion and its temples and Gods having increased greatly in Andhra Pradesh, and the state government not being able to do anything about it, or make sure that these incidents do not repeat in the future.
PK was successful in turning the tide against one caste and making the YSRCP win the last elections. It is now to be seen if he will be able to turn the tide in favor of the government right now. PK was also successful in portraying the YSRCP as a pro-Muslim party, following the death of Abdul Salaam.
