PM Modi’s reshuffling incorporates 43 new Ministers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reshuffled his Ministers today, which has brought about 43 new ministers. The ministers will work for the second half of the Modi government. At the same time, as many as 11 ministers have resigned. Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Bihar are getting strong representation in the new council of Ministers, of which former Chief Ministers Narayan Rane of Maharashtra and Sarbananda Sonowal of Assam, are a part of.

Seven-time MP Virendra Kumar, of Madhya Pradesh, and former Congress leader, who joined the BJP a few months ago, also from MP, Jyotiraditya M Scindia, are also going to be a part of this council. JDU National President Ramchandra Prasad Singh from Bihar, along with Ajay Kumar, the MP from Bhagalpur, while Ashwini Vaishnaw, a Rajya Sabha member from Odisha, leader of the LJP breakaway faction and Ram Vilas Paswan’s brother, Pashupati Kumar Paras, also from Bihar, are all part of this new council as well.

Existing members like Kiren Rijiju, Raj Kumar Singh, Hardeep Singh Puri, Mansukh Mandaviya, Parshottam Rupala, G. Kishan Reddy, and Anurag Singh Thakur are expected to be promoted to Cabinet ranks. BJP General Secretary Bhupender Yadav, who represents Rajasthan, Pankaj Chaudhary, the MP from Maharajganj, alliance partner Apna Dal’s leader Anupriya Patel, Agra MP Satya Pal Singh Baghel, Jalaun MP Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Mohanlalganj MP Kaushal Kishore, and state BJP Vice President, B.L. Verma from Uttar Pradesh are a part of the council.

Rajya Sabha MP, Rajeev Chandrasekhar and BJP Vice President Shobha Karandlaje will be the entrants along with Chitradurga MP A. Narayanswamy, and Bidar MP Bhagwanth Khuba from Karnataka, Surat MP Darshana Vikram Jardosh, Kheda MP Devusingh Chauhan, and Surendranagar MP Mahendrabhai Munjapara, from Gujarat, are a part of the council too.

New Delhi MP, Meenakshi Lekhi and Koderma MP Annapurna Devi are going to represent women in the council, while, Bankura MP and doctor Subhas Sarkar, and Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad, a Rajya Sabha member from Maharashtra and doctor are going to take oath as well. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh from Manipur, Dindori (Maharashtra) MP Bharati Pravin Pawar, Mayurbhnaj MP Bishweswar Tudu, West Bengal MP, John Barla, Tamil Nadu BJP President L. Murugan, Cooch Behar MP Nisith Pramanik and Ajay Bhatt from Uttarakhand are the other members who are also a part of the council.
