Pawan: Won’t enter Telangana politics

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan addressed his fans and party members belonging to the Telangana wing of the party. There have been huge expectations among fans that Pawan would enter Telangana politics, following the announcement of his meeting on the outskirts of Hyderabad, and a huge social media campaign of the same.

Addressing the gathering, Pawan said that the struggle for Telangana inspires him to keep striving for the betterment of his party and for the people and state of Andhra Pradesh. He said that he very much respects the people of Telangana and their slang, but clarified that he wouldn’t be an active part of Telangana politics until the people of the state ask for him to be an active part of Telangana politics.

On the other hand, the Jana Sena didn’t contest in the 2018 elections in Telangana, saying that it wasn’t prepared enough. While the party was eager to contest in the December 2020 GHMC elections, it had to hold back on its ally BJP’s request.
