Andhra Pradesh Congress wing has seen a major change in personnel with the appointment of YS Sharmila as the party’s AP wing president.
Shortly after the joining of Sharmila, Andhra Pradesh Congress saw a substantial development as YCP rebel MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy has joined the Congress party.
Sharmila invited Alla Rama Krishna to join the Congress party and he formally took the Congress oath. Sharmila welcomed him by putting a Congress kanduva.
It has to be seen if Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, who defeated Nara Lokes from Mangalagiri in 2019 election will contest on Congress ticket from the same constituency in 2023 and still manage to win the election.
Alla Ramakrishna Reddy is certain to get the MLA ticket from Congress in the next election. It has to be seen if more YCP MLAs will take this route and join Sharmila-led AP Congress in the near future.
