In a tragic incident, nine soldiers belonging to the Indian Army were killed and one suffered injuries after an army vehicle accidentally slipped into a valley.
According to reports, the Army vehicle carrying 10 army soldiers, including the driver, was traveling from Leh to Nyoma direction when it skidded off the road and fell into a gorge 6 km short of Kiari.
The reports revealed that 8 soldiers died on the spot, while one succumbed to the injuries while being taken to a hospital in Leh.
This unfortunate incident shook the nation and people across the country are offering their condolences to the deceased army personnel.
