Nimmagadda finally releases first phase notification!

The SEC and the government of Andhra Pradesh have been at war with each other for the last few months, over whether the local body elections should be conducted now or not. The AP government has tried its best to make sure that the elections are not conducted now, by citing Coronavirus as the reason. The main reasons for the government to not want the elections to be conducted now is the serious rivalry it has with Nimmagadda.

After Nimmagadda refused to conduct the elections during the first half of 2020, because of the spread of Coronavirus, the AP government tried its best to remove him from office, because he did not go by the government’s decision. Ever since then, the government and the SEC have not been able to see eye to eye.

Nimmagdda has finally released the first phase notification for the local body elections in AP. Excepting Prakasam and Vizianagaram districts, the other 13 districts of the state will have the elections in their respective revenue divisions. The polling for this is set to take place on February 5th.

While releasing the notification, Nimmagadda spoje about BR Ambedkar, who played a very important part in the writing of the Indian Constitution, and said that he’s hoping that he would get the required support and cooperation from all the concerned officers of the government, and from the CS and DGP as well.

Nimmagadda said that he’s confident that the elections will be successful, despite just a few poeple working to help the SEC out, during the elections, He also said that necessary steps are being taken to ensure that all the people will be safe during the polling.
