In his latest interaction with media, Nani stated that a top OTT portal made a huge offer for the direct to OTT rights of the film.
“A top OTT platform offered big bucks for the direct to digital rights of Shyam Singha Roy. But we wanted to give the audience the big screen experience and that is the reason why we held back on the offer,” Nani said.
Well, Netflix is Shyam Singha Roy’s digital streaming partner and given Nani’s comments, it is easy to connect the dots and deduct that the OTT giant made a big offer for the periodic action drama.
Shyam Singha Roy is now gearing up for theatrical release on the 24th of December. The film is directed by Rahul Sankrityan and it has Krithi Shetty and Sai Pallavi in the female lead roles.
