Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma has landed in yet another controversy. Producer Natti Kumar approached the court seeking to stop the release of RGV’s upcoming film ‘Maa Istam’ until the veteran director pays him Rs 5 Crore, which he had taken some time back.
With this, the court imposed a stay on the movie’s release. Natti Kumar’s comments about Verma have now gone viral. “Ram Gopal Varma is a big cheat. I have to give 5 crore 29 lakhs. When I ask for money, there is no response. I have worked with RGV for 20 years. The director not only cheated me, but he also fooled many people.”
“The City Civil Court has issued an injunction order stopping the Danger movie, which is set to release tomorrow. Today is Varma’s birthday, so I gave him a good gift. Ram Gopal Varma is tarnishing his image due to some brokers,” Natti Kumar added. However, RGV has not commented on the matter yet.
