Nampally Court orders to file a case on Kangana Ranaut

Bollywood firebrand Kangana Ranaut has landed another controversy after Nampally Court in Hyderabad has directed the police to book the actress for her controversial comments on Independence.

The Queen actress made sensational remarks that India got real independence in 2014 when Narendra Modi won. The remarks sparked outrage across the country. Several cases were registered against her at the same time.

As part of that, a lawyer from Hyderabad filed a petition in Nampally Court alleging that she made comments about the sacrifices of freedom fighters that hurt Indian sentiments.

The Nampally court on Friday accepted the petition and held a hearing. The court, after examining her remarks, ordered the Saifabad police to examine Kangana’s remarks and submit a report. Various charges have been filed against the actress in other parts of India as well.
