My role in Varudu Kavalenu was challenging: Ritu Varma

Naga Shaurya and Ritu Varma starrer ‘Varudu Kavalenu’ is all set to release on 29th October. Directed by Lakshmi Soujanya, the film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments.

As part of movie promotions, Ritu Varma, who played the role of Bhoomi in the film, told the media some things about her character in the film.

“When Lakshmi Soujanya narrated the story, I got connected to it. Challenging roles are very rare for a female lead. This is the movie I made with such a character. It has a lot of variation to the characters I’ve done so far. I’m sure people will love this character after watching the movie,” she said.

“Most of the people may think this is a female-centric film after watching the teaser and trailer of the film. But it’s not. It is a pure love story packed with good emotions and family sentiment. Naga Shaurya’s character has a lot of importance in the story,” the actress added.

Saying that Bhoomi character stands out as one of the best characters she has ever made, Ritu Varma said that it was written strong as the director is a lady.

Speaking about her co-star, she said, “Shaurya is very dedicated. He maintains punctuality and takes excellent care of his physique. A lot of people say our pair is good. It feels that half the result came before the release.”

When speaking about her chemistry with the lead actor, the actress said, “The love story in the film is sure to please everyone. Does not seem to be regular. There will be Old School romance. Our director showed it so beautifully. She will get a good name after this movie.”

Clarifying the rumours about her marriage, Ritu Varma made it clear that there is still a lot of time for her wedding. “It will take another two to three years,” she said.
