Kapu community veteran Mudragada Padhmanabam is one of the senior statesman in Andhra Pradesh and after a failed move to Janansena due to the lack of interest from Pawan Kalyan, he has decided to join the ruling party YSR Congress.
Mudragada went to the CM office in Tadepalli today and took the YCP oath in the presence of CM YS Jagan. This comes after a failed rally to the CMO due to security reasons.
This is being seen as an elaborate move from YSR Congress to cash in one the Kapu community vote bank by bringing in leaders like Mudragada and Hari Rama Jogaiah’s son, Suryachandra.
There were even media reports that Mudragada could be fielded against Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram but that isn’t happening as YCP has already announced Vanga Geetha here.
