Former India skipper MS Dhoni‘s parents, mother Devika Devi and father Pan Singh, have been admitted to the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. They have been admitted to Pulse Superspeciality Hospital in Ranchi.
“Their oxygen level is stable.” the hospital said in a statement.
Notably, the 39-year-old former India captain, who is leading the Chennai Super Kings, is in Mumbai with his 3-time champion team to play the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League.
Dhoni is due to lead CSK in their 4th match on Wednesday against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium.
Chennai Super Kings is currently third in the points table of IPL 2021 after playing three matches in the league. They have four points after winning back-to-back matches against Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings.
