Mahesh will not care flop directors like me- Puri

Star director Puri Jagannadh, who is currently enjoying the success of his latest outing iSmart Shankar, has now come up with some controversial comments against Super Star Mahesh Babu.

The duo already worked in two super hit movies earlier- Pokiri and Businessman and Puri announced to make another film with Mahesh, with the title “Jana Gana Mana” in the past. But the film was shelved later, as the Dookudu star, refused to do it, as the director was in a tough phase with a series of debacles.

Now revealing the same, in one of his recent interviews, Puri said that Mahesh fans keep on asking me to do a film with their hero, but no one is aware that Mahesh will have concern only on hit directors but not the flop ones.

These comments are now receiving severe backlash from all over the film industry. Especially, Mahesh fans are criticizing the star director big time, reminding him of the days, when their hero chose to work with him even when he was in the flops. Much to the shock, Puri further added that he is not willing to do films with Mahesh in future, even if the latter agrees to do with him.

In fact, even before Pokiri, Puri had a series of flops and then before Businessman, he had a couple of flops like 143, Nenu Na Rakshasi etc. But Mahesh still chose to work with him.

While there are several other directors who are waiting for a chance to work with a huge star like Mahesh, it is unfair on the part of Puri, to blame the Super Star, though he already worked with him twice in the past.
