To give the food for the poor people who are starving with hunger, the UAE has launched an interesting scheme. They have launched the World’s Tallest Donation Box on Saturday in a collaboration between the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) and the Burj Khalifa.
The Burj Khalifa was decorated with 12 lakhs of LED bulbs and to lighten one LED bulb on that building one has to donate 2.7 dollars. For every light purchased for Dh10 through the website www.tallestdonationbox.com, one meal is provided to someone in need, as part of the UAE’s social efforts to support the most vulnerable against the economic and humanitarian challenges posed by the global pandemic.
