The Kerala government has imposed strict restrictions due to the corona outbreak in the state.
It ordered the closure of cinema halls, shopping malls, gyms, sports complexes, swimming pools, and bars until further orders. The state government prohibits political, social, cultural, and religious gatherings.
The Kerala government has made it clear that only emergency services will be available on Saturdays and Sundays. Saturday was declared a holiday for all the government employees.
It ordered that the weddings should be completed within two hours with 50 people. Only 20 people were allowed to attend the funerals. Shops and restaurants were ordered to close by 7:30 p.m.
However, home delivery services are only allowed until 9 p.m. The state govt granted permission to open prayer halls and places of worship with less than 50 people.
