Liger not a big screen stuff, But a meme material!

Amid high expectations, Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger hit the screens on Thursday worldwide. But the movie received backlash for not meeting expectations. Apart from VD’s physical transformation, the audience has found nothing positive about Puri Jagannadh’s directorial on the big screens.

Before the release, the movie team was very confident that Liger would break the previous records in the Telugu film industry. But now, it appears like the movie may not reach the breakeven mark, considering the negative talk in public.

On the other side, trolls on Liger are at peaks on social media. Netizens, who watched the movie are wondering how VD accepted this movie and what happened to Puri’s writing skills. They are trolling the makers for the “Ayya telvadhu tatha telvadhu” concept and placing the ‘Akdi Pakdi’ song in the wrong slot, which is right after the mother sentiment. One of the reasons fans were excited for Liger was boxer Mike Tyson’s cameo role in it. But they have been unhappy about how he has been presented in the flick.

During the pre-release function, Vijay said that India will be shaken on the release day of Liger. Recalling his words, netizens are trolling the Arjun Reddy actor for his overconfidence on the movie. Fans are also criticising the lip sink of the actors as it appeared like a dubbing film.

Besides all these factors, the tweet of Anasuya Bharadwaj, which was directed to VD, is garnering the attention of everyone. However, the movie turned out to be a big disappointment for Vijay as well as the producers who invested a heavy stake in it.
