Earlier, there were reports that the ace director Koratala Siva might direct mega Powerstar Ram Charan for a movie after RRR. However, the latest reports suggest that the duo will not join hands for a solo movie as Ram Charan has finally given his nod to play a key role in Acharya.
Sources close to the team revealed that the makers of Acharya would announce the presence of Ram Charan in his father’s Acharya shortly whereas he is likely to join the shoot in May or June.
Also, there were reports that superstar Mahesh Babu will be seen in an extended cameo in this movie and the makers are also in plans to announce this news. Now, the latest grapevine is that Mahesh Babu has backed out of the project due to unknown reasons and this is the reason why Ram Charan has come on-board to play Chiranjeevi’s role in the flash back episode.
With this, Ram Charan is planning to listen the other director’s scripts as he has given commitment to work under Koratala Siva direction now.
