For a few days now, there have been speculations that the makers of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film ‘Acharya’ have chopped off the role of Kajal Aggarwal from the movie.
Ahead of the movie’s release, the director of Acharya, Koratala Siva has clarified about the South siren’s role in the film.
The director, in an interaction, said that he felt it was inappropriate to cast Kajal in a role with no clear ending. He explained that Chiranjeevi doesn’t have a love interest in the movie. He discussed the same with Kajal, and she agreed to withdraw herself from the project.
“I told Kajal the same thing. She understood. The actress said that she misses everyone and that she will definitely make a movie together in the future,” he added.
Acharya will be released in theatres on April 29. Besides Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, the movie stars Pooja Hegde in an extended guest role,
