YSRCP MP from Narasapuram, Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, is known as a rebel of his party, never seeing eye to eye on anything with his party members and always making sure that he openly criticizes the entire party and its members, the YSRCP government, and of course, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, in public, private, in the parliament, and with the media as well.
It is now being opined that Vijayawada MP, Kesineni Nani, who belongs to the TDP, is slowly but gradually turning out to be the TDP’s version of RRR. He has made several comments in the past about the TDP not standing much of a chance of winning the 2024 elections. While his comments are not as frequent as that of RRR, they are nevertheless controversial. Most recently, he said that the TDP wouldn’t win more than 50 MLA seats in the 2024 elections and even said that Chandrababu lacks the vision to drive the party to victory, as he is guided by selfish leaders who lack vision. He also said that former TDP MP and now the BJP member in Rajya Sabha, CM Ramesh, would split the party.
Apart from that, it is being said that former minister Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary, and even the party’s AP unit president, K Atchennaidu, have expressed their lack of belief in the party winning in the 2024 elections in private. All of this is causing quite the political tension in TDP right now.
