Megastar Chiranjeevi was the Chief Guest for the Telugu pre-release event of Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha, which is all set to be released on 11th August. The movie marks the Bollywood debut of Naga Chaitanya, who will be seen playing an important part in the film.
Megastar Chiranjeevi will also be presenting the Telugu version of the film. Talking at the event, Chiranjeevi said that Aamir told him about the movie way back in 2019, when the two unexpectedly met in Japan. He said that Aamir told him about being highly interested in remaking the Hollywood film Forrest Gump, featuring Tom Hanks in the titular role, for which he won an Oscar award.
Chiru said that it gives him immense joy and pleasure to be presenting the film in Telugu, and he is honored to do so because of the subject matter of the film and also because it represents the kind of handwork that Aamir put into the film, transforming himself incredibly for the role. Kareena Kapoor is the leading lady of this film, which is directed by Advait Chandan.
