KCR govt cracks whip on six more private hospitals in Hyderabad!

The Telangana government has cracked a whip on private hospitals for charging exorbitant fees from Covid-19 patients. Already, the license for treating covid patients has been revoked for several hospitals in the state. Recently, the state government revoked the license of six more hospitals. This includes Secunderabad KIMS hospital, Sunshine hospitals in Gachibowli, Century Hospitals in Banjara Hills, Lotus hospitals in Lakdikapul, Medics hospitals in LB Nagar and Integro hospitals in Tolichowk.

The state government made it clear that these hospitals are not allowed to have new patients. Those who are already receiving treatment be treated according to protocol. The directives issued by the Director of Public Health(DH) said that the hospital licenses will be revoked if the directives are not enforced.
