Telangana Chief Minister KCR had announced the Dalit Bandhu scheme a few days ago and started it in the Huzurabad constituency. He said that every family that is eligible would be paid Rs. 10 Lakhs, as part of the scheme, and he has given those cheques to 15 members today, on the occasion of the inaugural of the scheme in Huzurabad.
KCR said that he intends to implement the Dalit Bandhu scheme to all the eligible members of Huzurabad in the next 2-3 months, and to the entire state in the next three to four years. He said that the Dalit Bandhu is not a scheme, but a movement, through which he intends to uplift the lives of the Dalit community.
KCR spoke about the comments that the opposition parties made, and said that those are the same parties that wouldn’t give a single rupee to the poor from their pocket, but would comment on others. So far, the CM has released 500 Crores as part of the Dalit Bandhdu scheme and said that he would be releasing 2000 Crores more, in the coming days.
