It is known that Rishab Shetty’s Kantara is the latest sensation in the Kannada film industry. The movie, which was dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, was released in mid-October and became a winner among the audience.
Released by Geetha Arts in Telugu states, Kantara registered a huge collection in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions. As per reports, the movie collected over Rs 25 crore share mark in Telugu states. Needless to say, the producers have pocketed huge profits across the country. On the other side, the Hindi version of Kantara crossed the Rs 70-crore mark.
The action-thriller that celebrates the traditional culture of Kambla and Bhootha Kola is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films. It also featured Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, and Naveen D Padil, among others.
