Kakinada Parliament election race is going to be more interesting. Thota Narasimham who won as MP in 2014 elections from TDP is not contesting this time.
As he is suffering from health issues, he wanted his wife to be nominated as Jaggampeta MP. As Jyothula Nehru wants to contest from Jaggampeta, Chandra Babu Naidu said that the seat can’t be allocated to her.
With this, Narasimham is upset and jumped into YSRCP where YS allocated a ticket to Vaani from Peddapuram.
Chalamasetty Sunil who got defeated by Thota is now contesting from TDP in Kakinada. From YSRCP, Vanga Geetha is contesting and from JSP Jyothula Venkateswara Rao is contesting.
As Chalamsetty Sunil is contesting from Kakinada, he enjoy’s a great fan following and he has support from Kaapu community. Developments and welfare schemes which were done by the government will be a major plus point for him.
But as we see, YSRCP is also having a huge following in this are there will be a tough competition this time. JSP is just there to divide some votes which are still might or might not happen.
Vanga Geetha who is contesting from YSRCP has a great following. She has a good name in Kakinada Parliament. As Thota family joined YSRCP from this region, it is going to be a major plus point for her.
Comments made by Jagan on Kaapu community and comments on Pawan Kalyan will show effects on this. The Kakinada Parliament includes Kakinada city Rural, Thuni, Pitapuram, Peddapuram, Jaggampeta, and Pathipadu constituencies.
From last elections, Kakinada city, rural, Peddapuram constituencies were won by TDP. YSRCP has won from Thuni, Prathipadu, and Jaggampeta. In Pitapuram, an independent candidate has won.
This time in Pitapuram, Kakinada city and Rural there will be a tight fight from three of them. From Peddapuram, Prathipadu, Thuni, and Jaggampeta there will be a fight in between TDP and YSRCP.
As the Kaapu community is bigger in this area, the ones who got more support from this community will win this election. As there are other communities like Fishermans, SC, St etc. These were showing more interest in YSRCP.
