Now it’s the turn of Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, to face the similar circumstances. The film was declared a blockbuster on the first day itself, even though several popular film critics, strictly went against the film, terming it as a ‘B’ grade one. Now, the latest Hindi hit had to face a fresh trouble from the doctors.

Dr Pradeep Gadge, a diabetologist from Mumbai has written to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting asking them to stop screenings of Kabir Singh, alleging that it is portraying doctors under a negative light.
The doctor said that he was upset seeing Shahid playing the role of a doctor and is abusing women and being temperamental and ill-mannered. He also pleaded the Indian Medical Association to voice their opinions against Kabir Singh, as doctors are already suffering from the pseudo-bad image in the society and the film has only added a pinch to it, making it worse.
