TDP is on a verge of closing in Andhra Pradesh, as most of the leaders of the party are at the exit gates and waiting for a call from BJP. The result of the recent elections, has severely impacted the TDP leaders and are anticipating no future for Telugu Desam in AP.
It is widely rumored that people are tired of Naidu’s age old political strategies and the party now needs a strong and wise leadership. It is tough to imagine Lokesh as the successor of TDP, as the ex-CM’s son has turned out to be a fodder for trollers on the social media.

Even Nandamuri Balakrishna, from the family is not strong enough to handle a political party, as several times, he was seen losing the patience and beating the fans in the public. Such attitude can never work out in the politics, where the leader is supposed to please the public and portray utmost innocence in the face and body language.
Adding to it, even Naidu may not be willing to forgo TDP by handing over it back to Nandamuri family. So even Jr NTR, who is sensible in dealing the public, may not be getting the political advantage through TDP.
So Naidu is left with the only option of carrying the entire weight of the party on his shoulders and later hand over it to the senior leaders like Atchennaidu, who had been travelling with the party, right from the beginning.
