Janasena has approached the HC seeking a re-notification for the MPTC and ZPTC polls

Janasena party leader Nadendla Manohar had approached the AP High court seeking re-notification for the MPTC and ZPTC elections.

He said the Janasena party had filed a writ petition in the high court seeking the state election commission to give new notification for the Mandala Parishad and Zilla Parishad elections.

They said they wanted the High Court to accept their petition for hearing. Nadendla alleged that last year, the government had committed large-scale irregularities during the ZPTC and MPTC election process.

In this context, Nadendla clarified that democracy can only survive if the new notification is released. He was of the view that elections should be held in a free environment to give more opportunities to the youth.
