Jagan has been trying hard to complete various projects in his term and he took several reforms for the fastening of the irrigation projects especially on the long-pending Polavaram.
Now, AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy had visited the Polavaram project site and took stock of the progress of the works. This is his second visit for Jagan to the Polavaram as Chief minister and he was accompanied by the irrigation minister Anil Kumar Yadav. He had an ariel survey and observed how the works there are going on.
Reportedly, Jagan is very dissatisfied with the progress of the works and gave a strict warning to the higher officials. He even asked Anil Kumar to fasten the work as he had previously announced that the projects should be completed fastly when he had a meeting with the concerned officers and directed them on the actions that should be taken to complete the project.
This time he held a meeting with the Water resources department officials at the project site and enquired them on the pending works. Jagan reportedly expressed his anger and even gave them a date to report further proceedings. Jagan was even more dissatisfied when officials said that they are trying their level best on land acquisition and rehabilitation.
Till now these are all rumours but the progress of the Polavaram works has not been visibly great and there is every right for Jagan to fire on the concerned people.
