Jagan taking extra care before moving to Visakhapatnam?

There have been several reports in past about Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy shifting to, and operating from the port city of Visakhapatnam. While questioned how this can be possible, while the cases regarding the 3 Capital issues are still going on, members of the YSRCP have argued that the CM can operate from anywhere, and there’s no necessity that he has to operate from the capital only. This stands to be a valid point, thus ending all questions.

It is now being said that Jagan is reshuffling all government officials in Visakhapatnam, and is erasing the trace of everyone who worked with the TDP government, as he wants a loyal staff. Last week, 10 GVMC IAS officials were transferred, and this week, some more IAS officials of the GVMC were transferred and reshuffled within the city.

Jagan wants to concentrate on Visakhapatnam, as it has the potential to compete with cities like Hyderabad and Bengaluru, and because it is the only major city on the East Coast of India, between Kolkata and Chennai. Visakhapatnam has a lot of scope to develop into a bigger city, and Jagan is planning to develop the infrastructure in the city furthermore, in the next two years. On the other hand, Jagan is expected to move to the port city in July.
