Jagan’s Navaratnaalu is BJP’s strength!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is on his Delhi visit, is meeting all the national level leaders and is seeking their support for the developmental works of AP.

On the second day of visit to the national capital, Jagan met President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Niti Aayog Vice-President Rajiv Kumar.

Apart from demanding to keep up the promises of the Centre to the projects like Polavaram, Jagan also sought the financial support for YSRCP’s ambitious project “Navarathnaalu”, which was one of the major reasons for the party to form the government in the state.

Jagan, during his meeting with Nirmala Sitharaman, explained how Navaratnaalu scheme can improve the living standards of people and requested for the financial assistance for the same.

For the kind of the position the state is currently in, it is tough to meet the funds for the implementation of the Navaratnaalu. Though several political leaders, even before the elections, said that it is impossible to implement Navaratnaalu, Jagan still went ahead with it, which is what helped him to form the government.

But finally, as Jagan noticed the reality, he is now seeking the funds from the Centre for the state’s scheme. If at all, the Centre releases funds for Navaratnaalu, Jagan is surely going to become extremely powerful in the state and while BJP is aiming to gain the political strength in the state, it may find it tougher to tackle YSRCP in the coming days.
