AP CM Jagan’s visit to Delhi has been postponed. Even after trying for two days, the AP Bhavan officials in Delhi failed to secure an appointment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Home Minister Amit Shah for Jagan.
Initially, Jagan thought of meeting Amit Shah this Wednesday or Thursday depending on the appointment secured and it is learned that he is also planning to meet Modi after meeting Amit Shah.
However, with the election schedule for five states being released, Modi and Amit Shah have rejected Jagan’s request citing ‘Busy schedule’. Home Minister and PM office officials made it clear to AP Bhavan officials that an appointment could not be given.
Meanwhile, Jagan is pressuring AP Bhavan Officials in Delhi to secure an appointment. However, AP Bhavan officials say they have asked for an appointment within the next week.
