Jagan’s government now turns student-friendly!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning to bring revolution in the education system.

The new government has brought the initiative called “No-Bag Day” forward, through which, the school students are supposed to be away from books and bags on every Saturday and spend in the school involving in some recreational activities like sports, games and other stuff.

Adding to it, the YSRCP government also ordered the schools to dedicate 30 minutes everyday in the name of “Aananda Vedika” and thus engage students in some non-education stuff.

The new system is all set to get implemented from the upcoming academic year itself and the main aim behind the initiative of the government, is to remove the stress, students take due to the education and thus letting them relieve with the recreational activities.

No-Bag day is already being implemented in Uttar Pradesh, where the response is mixed. As the students are not supposed to bring bags to the school on Saturdays, parents instead prefer not to send their kids to the schools on every Saturday and thus the mere purpose of ‘No-Bag day’ will not be fulfilled.

State secretary, UP Madhyamik Shikshak Sangh, RP Mishra came up with a solution for it, saying that the teaching in the first half and activities in the second half on Saturday can generate good results as it will serve both the purposes.

It should be seen whether even Jagan Reddy’s government considers any such changes to the concept of No-Bag day in the coming days.
