Dr.Rakesh Mishra, director of the Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), said it would take at least three months for India to come to the normal situation. He believes that if people take all precautions now, corona cases could reach a peak by the end of May and then decline.
Dr.Rakesh Mishra said that as the virus is mutating rapidly, there is a risk of a third wave in the country. Further, he said that there is a chance of a third wave of corona if people fail to abide by the rules of covid-19.
Dr. Rakesh Mishra opined that the curfews and restrictions imposed by the governments help a lot to make people understand the severity of the situation. He said, “It is time for people to act more responsibly.”
