Though iSmart Shankar is touted to be a regular commercial entertainer, it was when the trailer revealed, a clear picture of it has been out. The lead character in the film will be carrying a chip in his brain, which is the similar point in one of the Hollywood films, named iBoy too.
Though there were allegations that iSmart Shankar is a remake of iBoy, none from the movie team responded to it. Finally, as the movie is all set to hit the theaters tomorrow, director Puri Jagannadh has now revealed that he is inspired from a few of the Hollywood films for writing the script of iSmart Shankar. He stressed on the point that it is just an inspiration, but not a copy.

There is no notable hit to Puri after Temper and so he is in a tight need of one such hit now. Even the recent films of Ram failed to impress the audience. So it should be seen, whether both the hungry birds, will be able to satisfy their hunger with iSmart Shankar or not.
