Is this the list of the new 32 districts of Andhra Pradesh?

Ever since the YSRCP came to power, there have been many rumors and speculations that the party will be dividing the state into more number of districts, and that the current 13 districts would cease to exist.

A high-level official committee was formed by the Chief Minister, which is headed by the chief secretary. This committee has, in turn, appointed a sub-committees to look into the boundary issues, legal issues, infrastructure issues and IT-related issues. Once these issues are sorted out, the government might make an official announcement.

It is now being said that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy might finalise things by January 26th, and might even make an official announcement on the Republic Day. Sources say that there will be 32 new districts in the state, equal to the number of constituencies in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Araku Parliamentary constituency is expected to be made into two, because it is the biggest constituency, and because it would allow a new district specifically for the tribal people.

The new probable 32 districts could include Palasa, Srikakulam, Parvathipuram, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Araku, Anakapalle, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Amalapuram, Narsapuram, Eluru, Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, Amaravati, Guntur, Bapatla, Narsaraopet, Markapuram, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Tirupati, Chittoor, Madanapalle, Hindupur, Anantapur, Adoni, Kurnool, Nandyal, Kadapa and Rajampet.

With no official confirmation yet, it is to be now seen how far this list would make it to be official.
