If the sources are anything to go by, Telangana Congress’ fire brand leader and the pioneer of the lady leaders in the party Vijaya Shanti may move out to BJP anytime soon. It is being said that Shanti, wearing saffron, has already been fixed and the date is yet to be announced for her defection.
It is known that the BJP elders have already held talks with her and they spoke together three times. It was union home minister Kishan Reddy once, before that BJP state president Bandi Sanjay met her twice. Reportedly, she was persuaded to join the BJP. There is some news coming out that Vijayashanti had already met BJP national president JP Nadda in Delhi.
Some of the above statements are yet to be confirmed officially and there are speculations that Ramulamma is very much attracted to Bandi Sanjay’s aggressive nature in Telangana after he became the new President for Telangana BJP. It is also said that it was her who expressed here desire to serve people being in TRS.
On the other hand, Sanjay once said that Vijayashanti is a great leader and she was betrayed by the KCR like so many Telangana revolutionists. It is in this context that Vijayashanti tweeted in support of the BJP on Sunday. After winning in Dubbaka, the BJP is reportedly planning to focus on large-scale mergers and strengthen the party. It is learned that senior Congress leaders along with some disgruntled leaders in the TRS have already expressed optimism. It is learned that the BJP is planning to encourage migration in view of the GHMC elections as well as the Assembly elections.
So, Vijaya Shanti may be the first nail to go down in the coffin if the BJP is determined to attack Congress and of course, there is no need to say that already many Congresspeople are looking at BJP for the better future.
