In a milestone achievement, India’s total vaccination coverage has crossed the 30 Crore mark in the last 24 hours. A total of 30,16,26,028 vaccine doses have been administered in 40,45,516 sessions. As many as 64,89,599 vaccine doses were given yesterday.
As per reports, there are 24.82 Crores (24,82,24,925), who were administered with the first dose and 5.34 Crores (5,34,01,103) taken the second dose.
India has also been seeing a steady fall in the active caseload. The country’s active caseload stands at 6,27,057 today. The totals cases are 30,082, 778 while the death toll is 391,981.
With essentially ramped up testing capability across the country, a total of 18,59,469 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in India. In total, the country has conducted over 39.78 Cr (39,78,32,667) tests so far.
