YS Jagan inaugurated the YSR Aarogyasri pilot project today in Eluru. As per this project, the patients will get relief from financial aspects if the cost of treatment crosses Rs.1000. In the past, Aarogyasri used to cover 1059 diseases while the new pilot project includes 2059 diseases.
YS Jagan happily stated that he is fulfilling another promise from his elections manifesto which would benefit the needy. This is the second gift the people of AP were receiving this year from YS Jagan. The first gift was to the APSRTC where all the employees turned into government employees overnight.
Aarogyasri doesn’t cover for all types of cancer treatments and to tackle this problem, YS Jagan is coming up with another scheme from Feb. As per that new scheme, all types of cancer treatment will be included in the Aarogyasri scheme and the patients won’t be paying heavy for the treatment. Stay tuned for more updates.
