Idol of Goddess Sita was vandalized in Vijayawada

A series of attacks were happening in AP on the idols of deities. The idols are being destroyed by unidentified thugs.

On the 28th of last month, a four-century-old idol of Lord Rama was vandalized in Ramatirtha, Vijayanagaram district.

The people of Andhra Pradesh were outraged over the incident.

Devotees, Hindus, and leaders of political parties are furious over the demolition of the statue of Lord Rama.

Before the incident reaches its end, the idol of Seethamma in the Sitarama temple in Vijayawada was destroyed.

Unidentified assailants attacked the Sri Sitarama Mandir at the Pandit Nehru Bus Station in Vijayawada.

The thugs destroyed the idol with coconuts in the locked shrine. RTC officials who observed the incident lodged a complaint with the police.

However, police said they were investigating the incident.
