Hyderabad migrants who arrived at the railway station get disappointed

Around 300 migrant workers residing at Hakimpet began moving in huge numbers on Saturday, attempting to arrive at the railway station as they suspected train services have continued. Afterward, they were halted by the police and sent back.

Addressing ANI, K. Narayan Reddy, Additional Inspector, Humayun Nagar Police Station stated, “They were attempting to arrive at the railway station as they suspected train administrations have continued. In the wake of repeated inquiries, we persuaded them to return”.

He revealed to ANI that at around 10:00 PM, 300 transients from Bihar, Jharkhand remaining at Hakeempet limits had begun moving towards Tolichowki with an aim to arrive at their local States, expecting the resumption of train services.

After getting the information, the concerned police squad arrived the spot and sent them back to their homes. Tomorrow morning we will speak to their respective leaders,” said Reddy.

As per the State Government’s revised norms the construction activities have commenced in the State and few people have no idea about it, hence they are planning to return back” he said.

Migrants later went back in disappointment after knowing that the services were halted at the moment. They were all been given employment at a construction site at the Indian Institute of Technology, a top engineering college, in Hyderabad city. The labours had earlier revolted and striked at the site against the non-payment of wages by their employer.
