Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s periodic drama Jodhaa Akbar’s iconic set has caught up the fire in Karjat Maharashtra.
On Friday, around 12 noon a massive fire broke out inside ND film studio which is owned by leading art director Nitin Desai, leading to an enormous loss.
Most of the set was damaged because of the blaze. Alerted fire department rushed to the spot, and it took almost two hours for them to control the blaze. As per reports, the set alone ended up costing nearly Rs. 12 Cr to create.
Even after years of the film’s release, the makers of the film kept the Jodhaa Akbar set intact as it was a major attraction for people visiting the studio.
Besides Jodhaa Akbar, ND Studios also shot some portions of other films such as Kick, Slumdog Millionaire, Bajirao Mastani and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo here.
